Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Waiterio LLC (we, us, or our) processes information when you use Multilocale's website, applications, APIs, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations (collectively, the Service).

Information we process

We process information needed to provide the Service, including:

• account and profile information, such as your name, email address, language, country, and any information you choose to provide;
• workspace information, including project names, locale settings, translation keys, translation values, project context, and sharing relationships; and
• technical and security information, such as request, device, session, and usage information needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

Translation keys, values, and context may contain personal or confidential information. You are responsible for ensuring you have an appropriate basis to place that content in your Multilocale workspace.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate users, provide and support the Service, store and display your workspace, generate requested translations, prevent abuse, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. We also use aggregated or de-identified service information to understand and improve the Service.

AI translation and MCP connections

When you request machine translation, Multilocale sends the submitted text, relevant placeholders, language selection, and any provided project or phrase context to the selected AI translation provider to produce the requested result. Do not submit content that you are not authorized to share with that provider.

When you connect Multilocale to an AI client such as ChatGPT through MCP, the client receives the tenant-scoped information returned by the tools you authorize. Depending on the request and granted scopes, this can include project information, translation keys and values, locale settings, a team roster limited to display names and roles, and the results of approved workspace changes. The roster excludes email addresses and internal member or role identifiers. The AI client's handling of that information is governed by its own privacy terms and settings.

Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers to host and secure the Service, provide authentication, process requested AI translations, deliver support, and measure product usage. We disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the Service, our users, or others. We do not sell translation content as advertising data.

Retention, security, and your choices

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can remove workspace content or delete your account from the Service. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
